Hypocricy Drives Me Insane

ohh. me too me too. But ALL good christians are hypocrites. think about it. I tell everyone i see to loveGod. and that God is the way to live. but then i screw up and don’t love God. Then i repent and keep telling people to love God. Idk. i’ve always said i’d rather be a hypocrite who speaks the truth than be someone who is ok with being mediocre. it’s an interesting thing. i havent really come to a conclusion yet…
any thoughts out there?
I agree. I cant stand when people around me blatantly contradict themselves and deny it, so I’ll say this: I know I frequently act hypocritically. It’s easier to discuss this with others who are strong in their faith because we’re all in the same boat, we’re all guilty, we’re all angry/dissapointed with ourselves for acting the way we do, and we’re all forgiven. I think the difference lies in attempting to stay focused on living the right way, even though we fail at times.
